BAT T. CHINA I N MADE Loading the film Recommended film Use DX-coded 35mm film with this camera. It is recommended to use DX-coded ISO 400 film, which provides good results when using the flash, and helps avoid blurred images, should camera shake occur. 1 Close the slide cover, then open the camera back. Slide the camera back lock release lever (1), and open the camera back (2). When loading/unloading film, be sure not to open the camera back cover into direct sunlight. 2 Insert a film cartridge. 3 Pull the film leader across to the red index mark inside the film compartment. Make sure to align the film leader to the red index mark; if the film leader is not properly aligned to the index mark (short of or beyond the mark), film may not be loaded properly. Loading the film

Pull the film leader across
to the red index mark inside
the film compartment.
Make sure to align the film leader to the
red index mark; if the film leader is not
properly aligned to the index mark
(short of or beyond the mark), film
may not be loaded properly.

Close the slide cover, then open
the camera back.
Slide the camera back lock release lever
