Use the focus lock ( p. 26) to focus on another subject equidistant from the camera, then compose the picture to shoot. Subjects of low contrast such as blue sky, or shiny subjects such as a shiny car body or water surface. Scenes with subjects at different distances within the autofocus frame marks. Subjects with continuous and repeated patterns such as buildings. Strongly back lit subjects or those having a bright shiny background.
