Basic Operation (Auto Mode)-continued Built-in Speedlight Use the built-in Speedlight if there is insufficient light to illuminate the subject. This condition is indicated by the Red LED flashing rapidly when the Shutter release button is half-pressed. To use the Speedlight Å Slide the Speedlight lock-release lever to release the built-in Speedlight. Red LED flashes rapidly. Í Confirm the Red LED is steady, then gently depress the Shutter release button fully to take the picture with the built-in Speedlight. Red LED steady.
