Setting Shooting Menus-continued Shooting Mode - Auto-Focus Mode - The camera Auto-Focus can operate in two modes: Continuous AF and Single AF. Continuous AF Single AF As long as the monitor is turned on, Autofocus is enabled continuously regardless of whether the shutter is being pressed or not. The Focus is locked when the Shutter release button is pressed lightly. If the Monitor is turned off, Single AF is automatically selected until you turn it on again. Autofocus is only enabled when the Shutter release button is pressed lightly, regardless of the Monitor status. - Focus Confirmation - This function allows you to check the Focus visually on the Monitor. - Distance Units - You can change the distance used on the Control panel and on the Monitor in Manual Focus mode. m meters ft feet Menus MF In MF (Manual Focus) mode, the outline of the in-focus area of the image is emphasized in the Monitor as an aid to focus. On In all Focusing modes, the outline of the in-focus area of the image is emphasized on the Monitor. Off Focus Confirmation is canceled. Check point The outline of the focused image emphasized in Focus Confirmation mode is displayed only on the Monitor. It does not affect the recorded image. 112 113
