Playback Menus-continued Playback Mode ˘ Protect The Protect option can be used to prevent recorded images in the CF memory card from being deleted. - Protecting selected images - 1 2 3 1 Press on the Multi selector to highlight a desired Thumbnail. 2 Press ≤/≥ to select an image to be protected. • Selected images are marked by the Protect icon. By pressing ≤/≥ again on the image, the selection is canceled and disappears. 3 Press the attribute. button to give all selected images the Protect • Continue selecting images and then press the button to confirm your selection. • Once selected images have been protected, a confirmation appears on the Monitor which then returns to the Playback menu. - Cancel protection on images - 1 Press on the Multi selector to highlight the thumbnail of the image for which you want to cancel protection. Press ≤/≥ to cancel protection of the selected image (the Protect icon disappears). 2 Press the button to implement the setting. 142 Hide Image When creating a slide show or showing photographs to an audience, you may want to use the Hide Image option to hide some of the photographs in the current folder from view. Hidden images are only visible in the Hide Image Menu. They cannot be deleted in Full-frame playback or from the Delete sub-menu. - Hiding selected photographs - 1 2 3 1 Press on the Multi selector to highlight the Thumbnail image to be hidden. 2 Press ≤/≥ to select the image. • Selected images are marked by the Hide Image icon. To deselect, press ≤/≥ on the Multi selector. • Repeat steps 1 and 2 to select/deselect further images. 3 Press the button to complete the operation. • The selected images have been hidden. A confirmation appears on the Monitor which then returns to the Playback menu. - Canceling hiding of images - 1 Press on the Multi selector to highlight the Thumbnail image that has been selected to be hidden. Protect
The
Protect

— Protecting selected images —

• Selected images are marked by the

• Continue selecting images and then press the
button to confirm your

• Once selected images have been protected, a confirmation appears on the
Monitor which then returns to the
Playback menu

Hide Image
When creating a slide show or showing photographs to an audience,
you may want to use the
Hide Image
option to hide some of the
