Image File and Folder Names Pictures, movies, and voice memos are assigned file names as follows: DSCN0001.JPG Identifier (not shown on camera monitor) Original still pictures (voice memo attachment included), still pictures for which electronic VR was used during shooting, movies, voice memos DSCN Pictures compensated in electronic VR (voice memo attachment included) Cropped copies (voice memo attachment included) Small copies (voice memo attachment included) VSCN RSCN SSCN D-Lighting copies (voice memo attachment included) FSCN Time-lapse or stopmotion movies INTN Extension (signifies the file type) Still picture Movie Voice memo .JPG .MOV .WAV File number (assigned automatically in ascending order, starting with "0001") • Files are stored in folders named with a folder number followed by a five- character identifier: "P_" plus a three-digit sequence number for pictures taken using panorama assist (e.g., "101P_001"; c 47), "INTVL" for interval timer photography (e.g., "101INTVL"; c 103), "SOUND" or "SOUNE" for voice recordings (e.g., "101SOUND"; c 77), and "NIKON" for all other pictures (e.g., "100NIKON"). Pictures, movies, and voice memos are assigned file names as follows:
Files are stored in folders named with a folder number followed by a five-
character identifier: “P_” plus a three-digit sequence number for pictures
taken using panorama assist (e.g., “101P_001”;

47), “INTVL” for inter-
val timer photography (e.g., “101INTVL”;

103), “SOUND” or “SOUNE”
for voice recordings (e.g., “101SOUND”;
