Shooting Suited for the Scene - High-sensitivity Shooting Mode, Scene Mode Assist Modes and Scene Modes The camera offers a choice of fifteen "scene" options. Camera settings are automatically optimized for the selected subject type. Portrait BE P DC IJGM NK OLF ZI Exit Assist Modes (Four Options) The following modes offer framing assist options to help you compose your shots. B Portrait Use for portraits. The main subject stands out clearly while the background details are softened, lending a sense of depth to the composition. E Landscape Use for vivid landscape shots that enhance outlines, colors, and contrast in subjects such as skyscapes and forests. P Sports Fast shutter speeds freeze fast-moving subjects for dynamic sports scenes. D Night portrait Use for a natural balance between the main subject and background lighting in portraits taken at night. Scene Modes (Eleven Options) The following modes allow you to take pictures optimized for a particular subject type by simply choosing a scene mode and pressing the shutterrelease button. C Party/indoor H Beach/snow I Sunset J Dusk/dawn G Night landscape M Close up N Museum K Fireworks show O Copy L Back light F Panorama assist l Image Mode and Exposure Compensation Scene menu [Z Image mode] (c 97) and [I Exp. +/-] (c 101) can be set Image mode in the scene menu and framing assist menu. Changes made to Exp. +/- these settings apply to all shooting modes. Settings made for exposure compensation are reset when the camera is switched to another mode. Exit 37
