Restrictions on Camera Settings Restrictions apply to the following settings in P, S, A, M, and T modes: Self-timer If self-timer is on, only one shot will be taken each time shutter is released, (B 26) regardless of settings chosen for Continuous, BSS, and Auto bracketing. Original Continuous, BSS, and Auto bracketing settings are restored when picture is taken or self-timer is turned off. Continuous Selecting option other than Single for Continuous turns BSS and Auto (B 73) bracketing off. BSS (B 75) When BSS is on, Continuous is set to Single and Auto bracketing turns off. Auto bracketing When Auto bracketing is on, Continuous is set to Single and BSS turns off. (B 75) A Auto Noise Reduction Noise reduction will only turn on automatically if Continuous is set to Single and BSS and Auto bracketing are off. Using a Flash in Continuous Mode (B 73) The built-in flash turns off automatically when Continuous is selected for Continuous; optional flash units mounted on the camera accessory shoe can still be used.
