The PIN2 code comes with some SIM cards and is required to access some functions, such as charging unit counters, which must be supported by the SIM card. If you enter a wrong PIN or PIN2 code three times in a row, that PIN or PIN2 code is disabled. You will be prompted for the PUK code (for the PIN) or the PUK2 code (for the PIN2) and a new PIN or PIN2 code.
