Steady green: Interface connected and autonegotiated at 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps. Connecting Network Interfaces Nokia IP VPN gateways support three built-in dual-mode 10-Mbps and 100Mbps ports. Connecting to Ethernet Ports You can connect one network interface to the network to use as the Nokia IP VPN Gateway interface. You configure this interface during the system startup procedure, which is described in the Performing the Initial Gateway Configuration section of the Nokia IP VPN Installation Guide. You can also connect the remaining LAN and WAN interface cables at this point, although you are not required to do so. After the power is turned on, the Ethernet link LEDs on the gateway and on remote equipment illuminate to indicate the connection. As data is transmitted, the activity LEDs on the gateway illuminate.
