Recording The recorder provides three folders, A, B, and C, and each message recorded in a folder is saved as a Digital Speech Standard (DSS) file. These three folders can be selectively used to distinguish the kind of recording; for example, folder A might be used to store private information, while folder B might be dedicated to holding business information (→ P.32, 33). Up to 199 messages can be recorded per folder. Microphone 1 Press the FOLDER button to choose a folder. Notes • A beep will sound when remaining recording time reaches 60 seconds, 30 seconds, and 10 seconds while recording. • While recording is in progress, never disconnect or connect the AC 16 adapter even if the recorder contains batteries. This may result in failure to play the recorded file.
