Assigning Folder Names The three folders can each be assigned a name of up to eight characters. The recorder comes with the following preset folder names: Example FOLDER A : MEMO FOLDER B : MEETING FOLDER C : TO DO FOLDER A : Folder A FOLDER C : Folder C FOLDER B : Folder B REC STOP INDEX 1 MENU ERASE 1 Press the MENU button. The menu opens ( P.42). 3,5 2 Press the FF/+ or REW/- button until "FOLDER NAME" flashes on the display. 2,4 3 Press the PLAY button. The folder name setup process begins. 4 Press the FF/+ or REW/- button to choose the folder you want to name. 5 Press the PLAY button to accept the chosen folder.
