Shooting closeups (Macro shooting) This function enables the camera to focus and shoot subjects at close distances. 1 Press 9. Using the self-timer After the shutter button is pressed all the way down, the picture is taken after a time delay. By securing the camera on a tripod, this function enables the user to take a picture of himself/ herself at a distance from the camera (h) or to take pictures without the camera shake (k). 1 Press 8.
