Remote control B C D E Battery Installation Remove the battery cover on the rear of the Remote Control, and insert a R03 (size AAA) battery with "+" and "-" matched correctly. B ON/STANDBY  button Switches the player ON or STANDBY. RESOLUTION button Set the output resolution for HDMI OUT and VIDEO OUTPUT (COMPONENT) jacks. ZOOM button Displays or exits the "Zoom" menu. OPEN/CLOSE () button Opens and closes the disc tray. 0-9 numerical buttons Selects numbered options in a menu or inputs letters in the keypad menu. CLEAR button Removes a mark on the search menu or a number when setting the password. ENTER button Acknowledges menu selection. RECEIVER control buttons (➔ 35) C / (SCAN) buttons Searches backward or forward. / (SKIP) buttons Goes to the next or previous chapter / track / file.  (PAUSE) button Pauses playback.  (PLAY) button Starts playback.  (STOP) button Stops playback. D HOME (L) button Displays or exits the "Home Menu". TOP MENU button Accesses menu on a disc. Direction (R/X/F/S) buttons Selects an option in the menu. ENTER (K) button Acknowledges menu selection. POP UP MENU/MENU button Displays the DVD title menu or BD-ROM's pop-up menu, if available. RETURN (M) button Exits the menu or resumes playback. The resume play function may not work depending on the BD-ROM disc. E DISPLAY button Displays or exits On-Screen Display. MARKER button Marks any point during playback. SEARCH button Displays or exits the search menu. REPEAT button Repeats a desired section or sequence. Colored (A, B, C, D) buttons Use to navigate BD-ROM menus. They are also used for "MOVIE", "PHOTO" and "MUSIC" menu. En 9
