IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: • Read all instructions, product labels and warnings before using the countertop oven. • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts. • To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids. • This appliance is not to be used by children or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities. • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should not play with the appliance. • Do not operate this or any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or has been damaged in any manner. Take the Convection Oven with Pizza Drawer to the nearest Authorized Sunbeam Appliance Service Center for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment. Do not attempt to replace or splice a damaged cord. • Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes. • Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use. • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries. • Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a tabletop or countertop or touch hot surfaces. • Do not place the appliance near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven. • Extreme caution should be used when using containers constructed of material other than metal or glass. • A fire may occur if the Convection Oven with Pizza Drawer is covered or touching flammable materials, including curtains, draperies, walls, etc., when in operation. Do not store any items on top of the appliance when in operation. • When using Convection Oven with Pizza Drawer, pull the unit out a minimum of 6 inches away from the wall, objects or other cords. • Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
