CHAPTER 6 Using Address Book Address Book enables you to keep names, addresses, phone numbers, and other information about your personal or business contacts. Use Address Book to do the following: s Quickly look up or enter names, addresses, phone numbers, and other information. s Enter up to five phone numbers (home, work, fax, mobile, etc.) or e-mail addresses for each name. s Define which phone number appears in the Address list for each Address Book entry. s Attach a note to each Address Book entry, in which you can enter additional information about the entry. s Assign Address Book entries to categories so that you can organize and view them in logical groups. s Create your own digital business card that you can beam to other Palm OS® handhelds. To open Address Book: s Press the Address Book application button on the front panel of your handheld. Address Book opens to display the list of all your records. Address Book button s Press the Address Book application button repeatedly to cycle through the categories in which you have records. s Press and hold the Address Book application button to instantly beam your business card to another Palm OS® handheld. 73
