Editing Connecting to a PC (File transfer/nonlinear editing) When this device and a computer for editing are connected using a USB Connection Cable, image data in the SD card can be transferred. ≥ Concerning non-linear editing, refer to the instruction manual of your editing software. ≥ It is impossible to write data to the SD card on this unit from a PC Operating environment (mass storage) ∫ If using Windows OS Windows 8/Windows 8.1 (32 bit/64 bit) Windows 7 (32 bit/64 bit) or SP1 Windows Vista (32 bit) (SP2) CPU RAM 1 GHz or higher 32-bit (k86) or 64-bit (k64) processor (including compatible CPU) Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 8.1: 1 GB or more (32 bit)/2 GB or more (64 bit) Windows Vista Home Basic: 512 MB or more Windows Vista Home Premium/Business/Ultimate/Enterprise: 1 GB or more Interface Other requirements USB port Mouse or equivalent pointing device ≥ Even if the system requirements mentioned in these operating instructions are fulfilled, some PCs cannot be used. ≥ Operation on an upgraded OS is not guaranteed. ≥ Incorporation of data on the Microsoft Windows XP is guaranteed. but, other function is not guaranteed. ≥ Operation on an OS other than the one pre-installed is not guaranteed. ≥ The USB equipment operates with the driver installed as standard in the OS. - 81 -
