Recording Setup All default settings are indicated with underlined text. MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # desired setting [REC FORMAT] Switch the picture quality of the motion pictures to record. The frame rate and the recording method will vary depending on the recording format. [PS 1080/60p]: Set the recording format to 1080/60p. (Frame rate: 60p) [PH 1080/60i]/[HA 1080/60i]/[HE 1080/60i]: Set the recording format to 1080/60i. (Frame rate: 60i) [PH 1080/30p]*1: Set the recording format to 1080/30p. (Frame rate: 30p) [PH 1080/24p]*2: Set the recording format to 1080/24p. (Frame rate: 24p) [PM 720/60p]*3: Set the recording format to 720/60p. (Frame rate: 60p) [SA 480/60i]*4/[CS 480/60i]*4: Set the recording format to 480/60i. (Frame rate: 60i) A Image quality prioritised B Recording time prioritised *1 Motion picture recorded in [PH 1080/30p] is converted to 1080/60i. *2 If a motion picture is played back or recorded when this unit is connected to a TV with an HDMI cable (optional), it will be output to the TV in 1080/60i. (It will be recorded in 1080/24p.) *3 If a motion picture is recorded when this unit is connected to a TV with an HDMI cable (optional), it will be output to the TV in 1080/60i or 480/60i. (It will be recorded in 720/60p.) *4 The image aspect ratio can be changed using [ASPECT]. (l 97) ≥ Smoother motion picture can be recorded with the higher value for the frame rate. [i] and [p] of the frame rate means interlace and progressive respectively.
