Iris/Gain adjustment When recording a scene that is too dark (or bright) or a scene in a similar situation, manually adjust the iris and gain. ∫ Iris adjustment ≥ Switch to Manual Mode. (l 33) A Iris value B Auto iris icon* * It is displayed in Auto Iris Mode. 1 Press the IRIS button to switch to Manual Iris Mode. ≥ disappears. 2 Adjust the iris by rotating the iris ring. F4.0 ∫ Gain adjustment ≥ Use the jog dial to change the settings. ≥ Switch to Manual Mode. (l 33) 0dB C Gain value ≥ In Auto Gain Mode, "AGC" is displayed; in Manual Gain Mode, the gain value is displayed in dB. D [GAIN] 1 Press the GAIN button to switch to [LOW GAIN], [MID GAIN], or [HIGH GAIN]. ≥ The setting changes each time you press the button. [LOW GAIN] # [MID GAIN] # [HIGH GAIN] ≥ It is possible to register gain values to [LOW GAIN], [MID GAIN], and [HIGH GAIN] and switch between these values. ≥ It is also possible to switch to the desired gain value by pressing the USER button to which [LOW GAIN], [MID GAIN] or [HIGH GAIN] is registered. 2 Push the jog dial. 3 Adjust the gain by rotating the jog dial. Manual shutter speed Adjust the shutter speed when recording fast-moving subjects. ≥ Use the jog dial to change the settings. ≥ Switch to Manual Mode.
