Battery Replacing the handset battery If " " flashes and/or "Recharge" is displayed after being fully charged, replace the battery with a new Panasonic rechargeable battery Model No. KX-A36. To order see page 9. To prevent memory loss, replace the battery within 3 minutes. 1 Press down on the arrow and slide the handset cover. Handset cover 2 Disconnect the battery lead and remove the battery. 3 Connect the new battery lead and insert the battery into the handset. 4 Replace the handset cover on the handset. q Be sure to charge the new battery for about 4 hours (p. 20).
