Which should I use, DVD-RAM or DVD-R? The following chart indicates the differences. Select based upon what you require. Region Management Information This unit is designed and manufactured to respond to the Region Management Information that is recorded on a DVD disc. If the Region number described on the DVD disc does not correspond to the Region number of this unit, this unit cannot play this disc. For U.S.A. and Canada • The region number of this player is "1". • The player will play DVD-Video marked with labels bearing "1" or "ALL".
