5. Communicating Within Your Office 2. Enter the Absence Message code (default = 729). 3. Enter the Absence Message number. (See Table 8 on page 77) 4. If desired, enter the 4-digit returning time 5. Press HOLD key. 6. Replace the handset or press the ON/OFF key. Note: Five absence messages (0-4) are supplied with the DBS. Messages 5 to 9 have no default message text.
