• Do not apply force to the zoom lens. Never place the zoom lens with the mount side facing down. • Regular size color prints may cut off what appears on the extreme edges of the film frame. Compose your picture with a margin of safety at the edges. • To maintain optimum performance, it is recommended that the camera be inspected every one or two years. If the camera has not been used for extended periods, or is being readied for important photographic events, it is recommended that you inspect the camera or test shoot with it. • Repairs made necessary due to usage of this product in an industrial application may not be covered under the terms of the Pentax warranty. Red-eye phenomenon in flash shooting When a picture is taken using a flash, a subject's eyes may appear red in the print. This phenomenon is caused by the reflection of the electronic flash in the retina. It can be reduced when the surroundings of the subject are brightened, or shooting distance is shortened with the lens set at the wide-angle position or by employing the red-eye reduction flash feature. 35
