Superimpose AF Area] in the [A Custom Setting] menu (p.75). • The AF point is fixed to the center position regardless of this setting with 4 lenses other than DA, D FA, FA J, FA or F lenses. Shooting Functions Setting the Focus Position in the Viewfinder 1 Select S (Select) in [Select AF point] in the [A Rec. Mode] menu. 2 Look through the viewfinder and check the position of the subject. 3 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select the desired AF point. The AF point lights red in the viewfinder (Superimpose AF Area) and you can check where you set the AF point.
