Protecting Images from Deletion 177 (Protect) You can protect images from being accidentally deleted. Even protected images are deleted if the inserted SD Memory Card is formatted. 1 Press the Q button and use the four-way controller (45) to select an image to protect. Select an image in the single-image playback screen. 2 Press the Z button. The Protect screen appears. Playback Functions 3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Protect]. 7 100-0046 4 Press the 4 button. The selected image is protected. Protect Unprotect All images OK OK • Select [Unprotect] in Step 3 to cancel the Protect setting. • The Y icon is displayed when playing back protected images. (p.25)

Protecting Images from Deletion

You can protect images from being accidentally deleted.

Press the

button and use the four-way controller (

to select an image to protect.
Select an image in the single-image playback screen.

button.
The Protect screen appears.

The selected image is protected.
