Pop up the flash manually beforehand. (p.65) 8 Point the remote control unit towards the remote control 5 m receiver on the front of the camera and press the shutter release button on the remote control. The operating distance of the remote control unit is about 5 m from the front of the camera. For h, the shutter will be released immediately after the shutter release button is pressed. For i, the shutter will be released in three seconds after the shutter release button is pressed. After the picture is taken, the self-timer lamp lights for 2 seconds and then returns to blinking.
