93 • Turn the e-dial while pressing the mc button to change the EV compensation value. (p.100) • Set the aperture value in increments of 1/2 EV or 1/3 EV. Set in [1. (p.83) • When using a lens with an aperture ring, set the aperture to the s position while holding down the auto-lock button on the lens. 4 Exposure Warning If the subject is too bright or too dark, the shutter speed will blink in the viewfinder and on the LCD panel. If the subject is too bright, set the aperture smaller (larger number), and when too dark, open the aperture further (smaller number). Once blinking stops, you can take the picture with the proper exposure. Use an ND (Neutral Density) filter if the subject is too bright. Use a flash if it is too dark. Shooting Functions
