The A, B, c, S or U mode is selected and the camera returns to capture status. When the camera detects a person's face, the Face Detection function is activated and the face detection frame appears (p.72). 4 Press the shutter release button halfway. The focus frame on the display turns green when the camera focuses on the subject at the correct distance. 5 Press the shutter release button fully. The picture is taken. • The shutter speed tends to be slower when taking pictures of dark scenes. • To prevent camera shake, set the Pixel Track SR function (p.114) to O (On), or use a tripod and/or the self-timer function (p.91). 81
