Press the CID button first to go into the CID review mode, and then use the 5 and 6 button to scroll to the number you want to dial. You will only see 11-digit numbers (i.e. 1-234-555-1234). 2. Call Waiting Caller ID This feature lets you see (in the display) who is calling when you are on the phone and hear the call waiting tone in the receiver. The caller identification information appears in the display after you hear the tone. IMPORTANT: In order to use this feature, you must subscribe to either the standard Name/ Number Caller ID Service or Caller ID with Call Waiting Service. To know who is calling while you are on the phone, you must subscribe to Caller ID with Call Waiting Service. Digital Answering System This unit incorporates a digital answering system with a total voice recording capacity of approximately 40 minutes. The messages are saved in non-volatile memory and will not be lost even in the event of total power outage. Once the recording capacity of the unit is reached or a line has its maximum number of 58 messages, the unit displays VM MEMORY FULL on the screen, and cannot record message for this mailbox. Unit will announce a busy voice message to caller if system is busy and unable to serve the caller. Furthermore, this unit is able to answer and record caller messages while you are talking on the other line. Answering System Indicator Check the Answer L1 and L2 button/indicator for answering system status. Off: Answering system is off. On: Answering system is on. Flashing: New voice message was received. 31
