Other Information Preset Equalizer To further optimize the sound quality of your speakerphone, it also has an internal audio equalizer with four available settings. These settings adjust the tone of the speakerphone to your personal preference. While using your telephone in speakerphone mode, simply press the Preset EQ button and cycle though these four choices. Pick the one that sounds the best to you. 1. FLAT - No equalization adjustment is applied to the tone 2. LOW - Emphasizes the deep rich bass tones of the conversation 3. HIGH - Emphasizes the higher and sharper tones of the conversation 4. VOICE CLARITY - Optimizes your speakerphone tone and sound quality Like the self-calibration described above, the tone equalizer is only activated when speakerphone mode is activated. If you press the Preset EQ button while using the handset or a headset, you will hear an error beep, but there will be no difference in the tone of the conversation. Display Messages The following special messages indicate the status of a message or the unit: NO CALLS The CID memory log is empty. UNKNOWN CALLER The incoming call does not have CID service or their service area is not linked to yours. If UNKNOWN CALLER appears along with a calling number, the name information for that number was not available. BLOCKED CALL The caller is registered as "Private Number" and their CID information is withheld. INCOMPLETE DATA Caller information has been interrupted or corrupted during transmission. REPLACE BATTERY You need to replace batteries to prevent data/power loss. END OF LIST You are at the beginning or the end of the CID memory log. 39
