Play / Pause • When the unit is off, press PLAY / ON to turn the unit on. Playback starts automatically from the first track. • In stop mode, press PLAY / ON to start playback of selected track. Note: If the elapsed time of the playing track is less than 0:04, pressing Skip backward once will return to previous track. If the elapsed time of the playing track is more than 0:04, pressing Skip backward once will return to the beginning of the current track. • To pause playback, press PLAY / ON during playback. Press PLAY / ON again to resume playback. Stop Playback • During playback, press STOP / OFF to stop playback. The total number of tracks is display. • Press STOP / OFF in stop mode to turn the unit off. Scan Tracks • To scan backwards in the track that is playing, press and hold the LAST button. • To scan forwards in the track that is playing, press and hold the NEXT button. Note: The unit automatically turns off after about 1 minute if there is no key activation. 24
