IM (Instant Messaging) Instant Messaging is a way of sending short, simple messages that are delivered real time to users online. Before using this feature, you need to subscribe to a messenger service. Your handset has 3 pre-loaded Messaging services (AIM, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo!).This message box stores messages that you may want to edit 1. From Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Messaging ➔ IM. 2. Select an account, and press Select or . 3. Enter a user ID and password information. 4. Press to place a check mark next to Save password, Automatic sign-in, or Sign In as invisible, and press the Down Navigation key until Sign In displays. 5. Press to sign in. Note: Contact T-Mobile customer service for further details. Sentbox This message box stores sent messages. When you enter this menu, the list of messages in the Sentbox displays with the recipients' phone numbers or names, if available in Contacts. 1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Messaging ➔ Sentbox and press Select or . Tip: Press the Left or Right Navigation keys to scroll between Inbox, Sentbox, and Drafts. 2. Select a message from the list and press to view or play the message contents. 3. To scroll through the contents, press the Up or Down Navigation keys. 4. Press Options and select one of the following options: • Forward: allows you to forward the message to another person. • Delete: deletes the Selected, or Multiple messages. • Move to SIM card: allows you to move the message from the SIM card into the phone's memory. • Sort by: allows you to sort the messages by Date, Name, Type, Size, or Subject. 59
