Contacts Settings 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g 2. Tap Menu g Settings: Contacts. ● Touch Import/Export to import contacts from or export contacts to USB storage. ● Touch Contacts to display to select which contacts to display by storage location, accounts, or custom list). ● Touch Only contacts with phones to show contacts with at least one stored phone number. ● Touch List by to sort contacts by first or last name. ● Touch Display contacts by to list contacts by first or last name. ● Touch Contact sharing settings to set your preferences for transferring contacts by Bluetooth. Tap the Favorites tab g Add to Favorites, select the contacts to be added to favorites, then tap Done. - or - Tap a contact to display it, and then select Groups next to the contact's name. Assign contacts to Groups to make searching for contacts faster, or to quickly call or send messages to group members. Your device comes with pre-loaded groups you can use to add your contacts, or you can create new groups. Tap Create group and enter information: ● Touch Group name to enter a name for the group. ● Touch Message alert to select a notification for messages from this group. ● Touch Add member to select members from Contacts. 3. Touch Save to save the new group. Adding Contacts to a Group 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Contacts g Groups tab. 2. Tap a Group to display it. 3. Tap Menu g Add member. 4. Tap contact(s) to mark them for addition, or select Select all to mark all contacts. 5. Tap Done to add the selected contact(s). Removing Contacts from a Group 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Contacts g Groups tab. 2. Tap a Group to display it. 3. Tap Menu g Remove member. 4. Tap contact(s) to mark them for removal, or choose Select all to mark all contacts. 5. Touch Done to remove the selected contact(s). Sending an Email to Group Members Create a new email addressed to the group's members. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Contacts g Groups tab. 2. Touch a Group to display it. 3. Tap Menu g Send email. 4. Tap group members to mark them as recipients for the new message, and then select Done. 5. The new message opens with the marked contacts as recipients. For more information about using email, see "Composing and Sending Email" on page 18. Editing a Group 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Contacts g Groups tab. 2. Tap a Group to display it. 3. Tap Menu g Edit group, and then update information for the group. Deleting a Group 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Contacts g Groups tab. 2. Tap Menu g Delete groups. 3. Select a group to mark it for deletion, or tap Select all to mark all groups. (You cannot delete pre-loaded groups.) 4. Tap Done, and then choose Group only or Group and group members. 5.
