Chrome Use Google Chrome to browse the web. ► From a Home screen, tap Connect Me Apps g Chrome. This applciation provides access to the Mobile Internet Management system that allows you to easily do any of the following: apply refills, apply data passes, check the remaining data on your existing pass, and manage your account. If you previously managed your Mobile Internet account via the My T-Mobile application, Mobile Internet Management improves your experience by allowing you take advantage of new and recurring plans, unlimited data with no overages, and on-demand data passes. If you pay in advance for your T-Mobile service, you'll need your account PIN and phone number. Otherwise, you'll need to provide information for the Primary Account Holder on the account. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Connect Me. 2. Select a connection application. 3. Enter your mobile number and follow the on-screen instructions. Contacts The default storage location for saving tablet numbers to your Contacts List is your tablet's built-in memory. For more information, refer to "Contacts" on page 15. ► From a Home screen, tap Drive Apps g Contacts. Use the Google Drive app to open, view, rename, and share your Google Docs and files. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Drive. 2. Sign in to your Google account. A product tour displays the first time you access Drive. For more information, refer to "Setting Up Your Gmail Account" on page 19. 3. Tap Next to view the product tour or tap Go to Drive to get started. Tip: Tap Menu g Product Tour to repeat the product tour at any time. 4. Follow the onscreen instructions to use Drive. 5. Tap Menu g Settings to configure your Drive preferences. 6. Tap Menu g Help to display additional help information. Dropbox Works to provide access to your desktop files directly from your device. This applications allows you to bring your files with you when you're on the go, edit files in your Dropbox from your device, upload photos and videos to Dropbox, and share your selected files freely with family and friends. The in-device application works in conjunction with a partner program placed on a target computer using an active Internet connection. Dropbox creates a folder that automatically synchronizes its contents across all of your connected devices on your account. Update a file to your Dropbox on your computer, and its automatically updated to the same folder on your other devices. Download the Desktop application 1. Use your computer's browser to navigate to: http://www.dropbox.com. 2. Follow the on-screen setup and installation instructions on your target computer containing the desired files. 24 Important! The computer application must be installed on the computer containing the desired files. This computer must have an active Internet connection. Note: It might be necessary to configure your router's firewall settings to allow this application to gain access to the Internet. Accessing Dropbox on your Device 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Dropbox g Start. 2. Tap Sign in, enter your current account credentials, and tap Sign in. - or - Tap Sign Up and follow the on-screen instructions to register for a new account. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions. 4. Initially, you will need to configure your Camera Upload parameters. Choose from Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi or data plan. ● Tap Turn on Camera Upload after making your selection. Caution! Enabling this feature can incur data charges (depending on your plan) if the Wi‑Fi or data plan is selected. 5. Tap Access Dropbox at the top of the application window to access the files and folders you are currently sharing from your computer. Email Email enables you to review and create email using most email services. The device alerts you when you receive an email message. For more information, refer to "Email" on page 18. ► From a Home screen, tap Gallery Apps g Email. Using the Gallery application, you can view pictures and watch videos that you've taken with your device's camera, downloaded, or copied to an optional memory card (not included). For pictures stored on an optional memory card, you can do basic editing such as rotating and cropping. You can also set a picture as your contact picture or wallpaper and share pictures with your friends. While viewing pictures in the Gallery, scroll up the screen to view more albums. Simply tap an album to view the photos or videos in that album. If you have pictures or videos stored on an optional memory card (not included), they will be display folders they are stored in, and folders are treated as albums. The actual folder names will be used as the album names. If you have downloaded any photos and videos, these will be placed in the All downloads album. Note: Tap Menu g Help to learn about Gallery. 1. From a Home screen, tap Apps g Gallery. 2. Browse files stored in your phone's memory, or on an optional installed memory card (not included). From the main Gallery screen, you have these options: ● Tap the menu in the toolbar to display files by Albums, All, Time, Locations, People, or Favorites. ● Tap a picture or video to display it in full screen view. ● Touch and hold thumbnails to select them (indicated by a check mark). ● Tap to create a New album. Give the album a name, and then select and drag thumbnails to the album to move or copy files to the new album. ● Tap to launch the Camera app.
