Abbreviated Dialing

Note: When dialing a number with a hard pause, press to send the next set of numbers. Abbreviated Dialing Abbreviated Dialing is similar to speed dialing. You can use either of the following abbreviated dialing features. ● Contacts Match retrieves any number saved in your Contacts by entering only the last four digits of the number. Press to dial the retrieved number. ● Abbreviated Dialing retrieves any number saved in your Contacts when you enter the prepended 5 to 6 digits (area code and prefix) to any 4 or 5 digits entered. To activate Abbreviated Dialing: 1. Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > Others > Abbreviated Dialing. 2. Select On or Off. To activate the Contacts Match feature: 1. Press > Settings/Tools > Settings > Others > Contacts Match. ● Select On or Off. To place a call using Contacts Match: 1. Enter the last four or five digits of a Contact entry's phone number. The contact number matching the entered digits displays at the bottom of the screen. 2. Highlight the contact and press . (If there is more than one matched number in your Contacts, highlight a name and then press to place a call.) Tip: You can also view the contact details or enter a pause by pressing OPTIONS (right softkey) and the appropriate choice after step 1 above. To place a call using Prepend Abbreviated Dialing: 1. Abbreviated Dialing
Abbreviated Dialing is similar to speed dialing. You can use either of the following abbreviated
dialing features.
Contacts Match
retrieves any number saved in your Contacts by entering only the last
four digits of the number. Press
to dial the retrieved number.
Abbreviated Dialing
retrieves any number saved in your Contacts when you enter the
prepended 5 to 6 digits (area code and prefix) to any 4 or 5 digits entered.
To activate Abbreviated Dialing:
