Using Program Rating Lock (MENU/123) MENU Broadcasting Program Rating Lock Try Now You can block programs based on their ratings by using Program Rating Lock. This function is useful for controlling what children watch on TV. Program Rating Lock does not block programs originating from external sources, such as Blu-ray players, DVD players, or USB files. Every time you access Program Rating Lock, you must enter the security PIN. You must also enter this PIN to watch a blocked program. The default PIN is 0000. Blocking programs based on their TV Rating You can block TV programs based on their rating. To block content, select a rating category to lock.
