Red White White VCR, DVD, etc. RCA cord To the line output jack Red s Listening to the playback sounds from VCR, DVD, etc. 1. Use a connection cable to connect the unit to the AUX IN jacks. When using video equipment, connect the audio output to this unit and the video output to a television. 2. Press the POWER button to turn the power on. 3. Press the AUX button to select "AUX". 4. Operate the VCR, DVD, etc. 5. Adjust the input level from VCR, DVD, etc. using the 3 or 2 button. The "OVER" indicator should not light at the maximum level. -2 0 +4 Note: To prevent hum interference, place this unit away from a television. s To record on a tape 1. Insert a cassette in the cassette compartment. 2. Press the AUX button to select "AUX". 3. Press the REC PAUSE I6 button. 4. Operate the VCR, DVD, etc. 5. Adjust the input level from VCR, DVD, etc. using the 3 or 2 button. The "OVER" indicator should not light at the maximum level. -2 0 +4 6. Press the 06 button to record on side A, or the 1 button for side B. s Headphones q Before plugging in or unplugging the headphones, reduce the volume. q Be sure your headphones have a 1/8" (3.5 mm) diameter plug and are between 16 ohms and 50 ohms impedance. The recommended impedance is 32 ohms. q Plugging in the headphones disconnects the speakers automatically. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME buttons. 28
