Playing the disc recorded in VR mode (Video Recording format) DVD-V VR mode DVDs recorded in VR mode can have a PLAYLIST assigned to alter the order or content to be played. If a PLAYLIST has been created, you can choose the ORIGINAL or PLAYLIST option. 1) Press the MENU button in stop mode. • The current setting screen will appear. • Pressing the MENU buttton during playback is not valid. To continue playback, press the PLAY button. • For DVDs, fast forward or reverse speed is different depending on the disc. Approximate speed is 1(x2),2(x8),3(x50),4(x100). • For Audio CDs, approximate speed is x16. • For MP3, approximate speed is x8. Slow Forward/Slow Reverse DVD-V DVD-V VR mode Press the g or h button repeatedly dur- 1 ing the pause mode to select the required for- ward or reverse speed. To continue playback, press the PLAY button. • Slow forward or reverse speed is different depending on the disc. Approximate speed is 1(1/16),2(1/8),3(1/2). Hint • Set "STILL MODE" to "FIELD" in the Display menu if pictures in the slow playback mode are blurred. (Refer to pages 23-24.) Zoom DVD-V DVD-V VR mode 1) Press the ZOOM button during playback. 2) Press the ZOOM button repeatedly to select the required zoom factor: x2, x4 or OFF. x2 x4 3) Use the arrow (K/L/s/B) buttons to slide the zoomed picture across the screen. 4) To exit zoom mode, press the ZOOM button to select OFF.
