Overedge Stitching When joining two pieces of fabric, it is usually necessary to finish the edges. This prevents raveling of the fabric and provides for a professional finish. Machine Set-Up: Stitch: Pattern Selector: Stitch Width: Stitch Length: Presser Foot: Needle Position: Overedged Seam Stitch D 5 Stretch Setting Special Purpose Foot (J) Center Materials: (2) pieces of woven fabric Stretch Setting Procedure: Right sides together, place the fabric under the foot.
