Connectivity Entering Internet and email settings You can enter settings in the following different ways: Some settings are not mandatory. Please consult your network operator or service provider for more information. • You can receive settings in a text message from your network operator or service provider. • You can enter or edit settings manually. Receiving settings in a text message Your network operator or Internet service provider may be able to send the required data account, Internet and email settings direct to your phone in a text message. However, your phone has already been configured for Vodafone live!, so no further configuration is needed. Using Internet Your phone has a browser that uses WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) or HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) to access the Internet. To select an Internet profile } Connectivity } Internet settings } Internet profiles and select the profile you want to use. To start browsing Press the Vodafone live! key on your phone, or scroll to Favourites, and select a service or press More for the following: • Go to one of your bookmarks. Select Bookmarks. • Enter the address of a Web site. Select Enter address } New address to enter a new Web page address or select one of the 10 latest entered addresses. When you enter a Web page address, the normal http:// prefix is not needed. To stop browsing } More } Exit browser. Options when browsing } More to view different browsing options. The options may vary depending on which site you are visiting. If you select an email address when browsing a Web site, you can send a text message to that address.
