Connections for Playback You can use the camcorder as a VCR by connecting it to your TV for playback. Connect your camcorder as shown below. It is recommended to use the house current as the power source (p. 19). Connecting to a TV or VCR with Video/Audio Input Jack For the Stereo Model (CCD-FX640 only) Connect the camcorder to your TV or VCR by using the supplied AN connecting cable. Set the TV/VCR selector on the TV to VCR. With this connection, the sound is monaural. For Monaural Models (CCD-FX240/FX340) Connect the camcorder to your TV by using the supplied A/V connecting cable. Set the TV/VCR selector on the TV to VCR.
