Lights up when using the receiver to tune in radio stations (page 52), etc. Note "RDS" appears for models of area code CEL, CEK only. Lights up when using the receiver to tune in radio stations you have preset. For details on presetting radio stations, see page 54. Lights up when dynamic range compression is activated (page 37). Lights up when DVD input is selected. However, "UNLOCK" appears on the display if no digital signal is input through the COAXIAL jack. The letters (L, C, R, etc.) indicate the channels being played back. The boxes around the letters vary to show how the receiver downmixes the source sound (based on the speaker settings).
