The MS indicator goes out. z By pressing MENU, you can display the track list when the player is stopped. Notes • Only the letters in alphabet and numbers in the album/track names can be displayed. Other characters appear as an "*" (asterisk). • MS mode will be released when: - the player enters standby mode - the power cord is disconnected Playing a track with a playback period restriction (DATE/TIME SETUP) Set the current date and time so that you can play an audio track with a playback period restriction recorded on an "MG Memory Stick." 1 Press DISPLAY when the player is in stop mode. The Control Menu appears. 2 Press X/x to select then press ENTER. (SETUP), 3 Press X/x to select "CUSTOM," then press ENTER. The Setup Display appears. 4 Press X/x to select "CUSTOM SETUP," then press ENTER. The "CUSTOM SETUP" display appears. CUSTOM SETUP AUTO PLAY: DIMMER: PAUSE MODE: TRACK SELECTION: DATE/TIME SETUP OFF BRIGHT AUTO OFF 5 Press X/x to select "DATE/TIME SETUP t," then press ENTER. The "DATE/TIME SETUP" display appears. CUSTOM SETUP DATE/TIME SETUP YM D 2002 / 3 / 3 HM 8 : 08 AM Start with the year. 6 Press X/x to select a figure, then press c. The "Y (year)" is set, and the next item "M (month)" will be highlighted. 7 Repeat Step 6 to set "M (month)," "D (day)," "H (hour)," and "M (minute)," then press ENTER. When you press ENTER after setting "M (minute)," the clock starts operating. If you make a mistake Press C repeatedly until the item you want to correct is highlighted, then input the correct number. To turn off the Setup Display Press DISPLAY repeatedly until the Setup Display is turned off. 74
