To cancel the menu operation Press MODE SELECT. - Preset Tuning Preset radio stations in the tuner's memory first (see "Step 3: Presetting radio stations" on page 8). Tips • If you want to record from the reverse side, press TAPE B n to light its indicator after pressing CD SYNC. • When you record on both sides, be sure to start from the front side. If you start from the reverse side, recording stops at the end of the reverse side. • When you want to reduce the hiss noise in low-level high-frequency signals, do the following procedure after pressing CD SYNC. 1 Press MODE SELECT repeatedly to select "Set Up Mode", then press PUSH ENTER. 2 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to select "TAPE Set Up ?", then press PUSH ENTER. 3 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to select "DOLBY NR Set Up ?", then press PUSH ENTER. 4 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to select "On", then press PUSH ENTER. "DOLBY NR" appears in the display. To return to the original setting, repeat steps 1 through 4 and select "Off" in step 4.
