Connections In order to watch the playback picture on the TV screen and receive TV programs on this VCR, you must connect the VCR and the TV properly. The connection between the two units varies depending upon the type of TV and antenna that you have. We will show you here some typical ways you can make this connection with the supplied accessories. Before You Begin • Turn off the power of the VCR and TV. • Disconnect the AC power cord of the VCR and TV from the wall outlet. • Do not connect the AC power cords until all of the connections are completed. To Connect a Cable-TV System If your TV has a built-in CATV decoder CATV 75-ohm coaxial cable Disconnect the CATV cable from the TV. 0 VHF/UHF TV UHF VHF CATV cable If your TV does not have a built-in CATV decoder CATV 75-ohm coaxial cable Disconnect the CATV cable from the TV.
