Recording TV Programs Make sure that you have finished all the connections and adjustments on pages 10 to 23. If the safety tab on the cassette has been broken off The cassette will be ejected automatically when • REC is pressed. Insert a cassette.The power is turned on automatically and the indicator appears. 2 Set TV/VCR to VCR. 3 Press INPUT SELECT, if the AN indicator lights in the display window. 4 Select the recording speed, SP, LP or EP using REC MODE. 5 Turn on the TV and select the channel for the VCR (3 or 4) or select the input for the VCR. 6 Press ANT TV/VCR so that the VCR indicator appears. 7 Select the channel to be recorded with CHANNEL +/-. 8 Press • REC on the VCR , or press • REC on the Remote Commander while pressing the recording auxiliary button. Recording will begin. When you want to record a program without watching the TV Turn off the power of the TV or color monitor. Recording takes place as normal. To stop the tape momentarily during recording Press 11/00-I-41 PAUSE/STILL on the VCR or II PAUSE on the Remote Ccmmander. To resume recording, press11/10+41PAUSE/ST1LL orliPAUSE again. To View One TV Program While Recording Another Press ANT TV/VCR on the Remote Commander so that the VCR indicator goes off. Select the program you want to watch on the TV. If your TV is equipped with a TV/VCR input selector, simply set the selector to "TV- and select the desired channel on the TV. 27
