Watching the Beginning of Each Recording Consecutively - Index Scan You can watch the beginning of each recording consecutively by detecting the index signal one by one. 1 Insert a recorded cassette. 2 Set TV/VCR to VCR. 3 Press INDEX/GO-TO during stop or playback mode. SP c r _ j INDEX L The tape will be fast-forwarded or rewound, and the VCR will search for an index signal. While the VCR is searching for the first index signal, "SC" will be displayed on the display window. Each time an index signal is detected, the VCR enters the playback mode, and a portion of 5 seconds will be played back. Then the VCR will resume searching for the next index signal. To view the normal playback picture Press* PLAY during the index playback for 5 seconds. To stop index scan Press • STOP. 39
