Quick Timer Recording The quick timer recording function provides a simplified timeractivated recording procedure. Using this function, you can either: • begin recording a program immediately and leave the VCR right away, or • begin recording a program at a later time. The recording duration can be set for up to 4 hours by 30 minute intervals, or can be set so that the VCR continues recording until the tape reaches its end. Starting Recording Immediately Before operation • Make sure that the tape speed and the channel are set as you desire. • Set the TV/VCR on the Remote Commander to VCR. 1 Insert a cassette. 2 Press REC TIME. For longer recording duration, press REC TIME repeatedly. Each time you press REC TIME, the recording duration shown in the display window will increase by 30 minutes, as follows: 0:30 -> 1:00 -) 1:30 3:30 -> 4:00 -> End -> 0:00 _ If you want to record for one hour and 30 minutes, for example, press REC TIME so that "1:30" is displayed. If you want to record until the tape reaches its end, press REC TIME so that "End" is displayed. After the quick timer recording is completed, the power of the VCR will be turned off. 35

The
quick
timer
recording
function
provides
