To change the button assignments You can change the factory settings of the function buttons to suit the components in your system. For example, if you connect a LD player to the VIDEO 2 jacks on the receiver, you can set the VIDEO2 button on this remote to control the LD player. Note, however, that the settings of the TUNER button cannot be changed. 1 Press USE MODE for more than 2 seconds. The indicator remains lit. 2 Press the function button you want to change the assignment of. The indicator turns off when a valid button is pressed. Only the first function button that is pressed will be registered. Example: Press VIDEO2. 3 Press the function button for which you want to change the assignment to.
