n 216 N Troubleshooting Docking Station Why can't I use my TFT/DVI monitor connected to the DVI-D port? The DVI-D port on the docking station is disabled when your computer is in STAMINA mode. Change the performance mode to SPEED mode and restart the computer. See Selecting Performance Modes (page 107) for mode selection. What should I do if an error message appears when I press the UNDOCK button or select Undock Computer from the Start menu? ❑ When any device inserted or connected to the docking station is in use, you cannot disconnect your computer from the docking station. Save unsaved data, exit applications using such devices, and then try again. If the above does not work, shut down your computer and disconnect it from the docking station. ❑ Make sure to return to the original log-on user before disconnecting your computer from the docking station. Why can't I use my TFT/DVI monitor connected to the DVI-D port?
The
DVI-D
port on the docking station is disabled when your computer is in STAMINA mode. Change the performance mode
to SPEED mode and restart the computer. See
Selecting Performance Modes
(page 107)
for mode selection.
What should I do if an error message appears when I press the UNDOCK button or select
Undock Computer from the Start menu?
When any device inserted or connected to the docking station is in use, you cannot disconnect your computer from the
docking station. Save unsaved data, exit applications using such devices, and then try again.
If the above does not work, shut down your computer and disconnect it from the docking station.
